How to use the forum (tips & tricks)

You can find extensive useful info on how to use the forum in FAQ
FAQ short version: All forum settings and your profile can be found in User CP There you can:

Correct hour and date of your posts on eugenol - User CP: Edit options
Select your local time (GMT) below in the page.

Edit: Avatar, Signature, Email & Password or edit Your Details

If you want to save files or pictures in your message (New subject or Reply) then press the button (marked with red in below picture)

then a second small window appear (see below), where you select files or images from your computer and upload to your message.

Your pictures will be placed below your message. (like the Scotland picture below). If you want to place it in your text then from the same button mentioned above after you upload pictures you press the small arrow on the right and a menu appear. Place cursor in the place where you want the picture to be placed and select it from the mentioned menu. A code similar to this will appear: [ATTACH]2[/ATTACH) Please leave it untouched, however you can move it in the message to move picture placement.

After you accumulate 10 messages on this forum you can start vote for the Case of the month contest. The case (topic) receiveing biggest number of nominations will win the monthly contest.

You need to click on the topic you wish to nominate, scroll to firsts message and click on

button found on lower right of the message. (you can nominate only first message of a topic, and you cant nominate your own posts)

If you reach a certain number of nominations made in a day your access to nominations will be closed until the next day (to prevent abuse).

In order to get nominated try to post your best cases (good pictures are usually a must) and also very good argumentation. Your effort will be surely appreciated.
